Criag Biggio got into game one of the three game series against the Milwaukee Brewers, in the eighth inning, pinch hitting for pitcher Orlando Palmeiro.

Here are his stats:

Biggio is now eight hits shy of tying Rod Carew on the All Time Hit List with 3053 and Rickey Henderson with 3055. They are 21st and 20th, respectively, on the list with 24 games remaining for the season. The Astros play twelve games on the road and twelve games at home.
