Craig Biggio did not play in the Astros 4-2 loss to the San Francisco Giants.
Mark Loretta took his place at second base, batting second in the order.
Biggio's career hits total remains unchanged at 2971.
NOTE: Drug cheat Barry Bonds again was home runless in four at bats. He had two intentional walks, struck out once and flied out. He was pulled in the 8th inning.
