August 23: Washington: 1 Hit, 3039 Career Total

Craig Biggio went 1-5, scoring one run in the Astros 7-6 loss to the Padres.

His batting average is .255 along with increasing his career hits total to 3039.

A three game home series against the Pittsburgh Pirates begins tomorrow.

August 20: Washington: 1 Hit, 3033 Career Total

Craig Biggio got one hit in four at bats to raise his career hits total to 3033. His batting average reminded at .250 as the Astros lost to the Washington Nationals 7-0.

Game two of the four game series is tomorrow.

Craig Biggio saw action as a pinch hitter in the Houston Astros 7-6 loss to the Washington Nationals. he went 0-1 with one RBI.

He remains at 3014 career hits.

July 17: Washington: 0 Hits, 3014 Career Total

Craig Biggio got into the game as a pinch hitter and hit a sacrifice fly to the Washington Nationals' center fielder Mook Logan. As a result, Lance Berkman scores, crediting Biggio with a single RBI.

The Astros pulled themselves out of a four game loosing streak, defeating the Nationals 4-2. Game three will be tomorrow at 12:05pm CDT.

July 16: Washington: 1 Hit, 3014 Career Total

Craig Biggio was back in the lineup at 2nd base in the Houston Astros 4-3 loss at RFK Stadium.

Biggio went 1-4 and increased is hit total to 3014.

Game two of the three game series is Tuesday at 6:05pm CDT.
