July 31: Atlanta: 1 Hit, 3021 Career Total

The Houston Astros dropped the first game of their three game series with the Atlanta Braves by the score of 12-4.

Craig Biggio started at second base, going 1 for 4 with two RBIs and one strikeout.

He is now at 3021 career hits, passing Rafael Palmerio on the list to take sole possession of 23rd place. Next on the career hits list is Lou Brock with 3023.
