Craig Biggio went 1 for 5 in a marathon seventeen inning loss to the New York Mets. The Mets scored two runs in the top of the 17th to make the score 5-3 to break the tie. The Astros fell to 38-49 for the season.


The game went 5 hours and 17 minutes and used 7 relief pitchers.

Biggio was pulled in the top of the 11th, and replaced at second base by Chris Burke.
