July 5: New York Mets: 2 Hits, 3011 Career Total

Craig Biggio got two hits in five at bats in the Houston Astros 6-2 loss to the New York Mets. He now has 3011 career hits, passing Wade Boggs (3010) to take 24th place on the all time hits list. Next up on the list is Rafael Palmeiro with 3020.

The Astros are now 37-49, while the Mets raised their record to 47-37. Game two will be tomorrow at 7:05pm.
