Craig Biggio and the Houston Astros travelled to Anaheim in their first ever trip to Angels Stadium. There they will play a three game series against the Los Angeles Angels.
After a five run fifth inning, the Astros could not hold on to their lead. They went into the bottom of the ninth inning tied at 9 all. The Angels came back in the bottom of the ninth to hand the Astros a 10-9 loss.
Biggio started in his usual position, leading off the batting order. He was on a five game hitting streak and batting 9-21 in his last five games.
He went 1-6 and upped his career hit total to 2990. He now has ten hits to go to join the elite list of 3000 career hits.
