June 3: St. Louis: 0 Hits, 2978 Career Total

The Houston Astros dropped a close game, 8-6 to the St. Louis Cardinals in ten innings this afternoon. They are currently 23-33 and in fourth place in the National League Central Division.

Craig Biggio did not start but came into the game in the top of the ninth inning, replacing pitcher Chad Qualls, playing second base and batting second in the order.

The Astros take tomorrow off as they prepare for a seven game road trip. They face the Colorado Rockies for a three game series followed by a four game series against the Chicago Cubs.
