June 19: Los Angeles (AL): 2 Hits, 2992 Career Total

Criag Biggio and the Astros tried to get back into the win column in the second game of their three game series against the Los Angeles Angels.

Biggio went 2-6 and raised his career hit total 2992. He only needs eight more hits to achieve his long sought after goal of 3000.


The Astros won 9-5 to take the three game series to 1-1. The rubber game will be at 9:05pm tomorrow Houston time, which means another late night for this humble writer.
